a host of other services to women of all ages

CARE
Our mammography services
offer women the
opportunity for early detection of breast abnormalities.
Female radiologists are available to perform procedures

The latest, non-surgical breast biopsy
techniques are used at the Center to diagnose abnormalities

ANTEPARTUM TESTING AND
HIGH-RISK OBSTETRICS
For women with complicated
and high-risk pregnancies, we offer specialized
care to help them deliver healthy babies. We
also provide a Diabetes in Pregnancy Counseling

BONE DENSITY TESTING
Our state-of-the-art
bone density testing screens women for osteoporosis.
This test, which is similar to a low-dose X-ray,
measures bone density of the hip and spine. It is
fast, safe, and painless, and performed by a specially
trained radiologic technologist. Click

NUTRITIONAL
COUNSELING
We offer nutritional
counseling to women with special nutritional needs,
including pregnant women and women with cancer.
A registered dietitian works one-on-one
with each patient to develop a nutritional plan consistent
with her needs.

PSYCHOSOCIAL COUNSELING
These services provide
support to women undergoing treatment for cancer
and their families. In a confidential environment,
we provide an avenue for expressing feelings and

MORE ABOUT THE CENTER
A media room within the Center
provides educational resources on women's health
issues to women and their families. This area is
equipped with computer terminals with Internet access,
as well as with videotapes and a library of information.
An on-site file room houses mammography
films, enabling physicians and technicians to review
a woman's record on a moment's notice.
Multiple dressing rooms allow for privacy
while changing and provide a safe place to store
belongings during an appointment. Our dressing rooms
and bathrooms are handicapped accessible.
