About the Dolan Family Health Center
Huntington Hospital's Dolan Family Health Center provides
medical care for men, women, and children. It is located
in a convenient, easy-to-reach building on Pulaski
Road in Greenlawn.
Medical services are provided by a team of physicians,
nurse-practitioners, nurses, and health professionals
who are assisted by a friendly, knowledgeable support
staff. Many staff members are bilingual in either English
and Spanish, or English and French. Patients see the
same physician each time they visit the center. If
their primary physician is unavailable, they will be
treated by another physician, and their doctor will
be updated on any new medical information.
Care is provided to people of all ages, including
newborns, infants, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults,
and senior citizens by Board certified physicians in
internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, obstetrics,
and gynecology. If the expertise of a subspecialist
is required, patients are assisted in obtaining the
appropriate medical help.
All services are provided in strict confidentiality.

Training
Programs
There may be times when a medical student, student
nurse, resident physician, or other health professional
in training participates in your care. All are directly
supervised by the attending physician. The Center jointly
conducts training programs with both the North Shore
Health System and the State University of New York
at Stony Brook. The presence of these trainees is an
asset to our Center and enhances the quality of care.
We recognize, however, that some people may prefer
not to have trainees involved in their care; if this
is the case, we ask that you please indicate so in
advance to the office staff. |
